Savage Brothers
The new studio album "Freedom Or
Death" continues with the same power and hunger where the Brothers left
off on "A Fist In The Thought" & "The Iron Fist." Their gritty
street lyrics are taking you straight back to the essence of Hip Hop as
they leave the mic smoking and fans dripping for more of that south
cack life struggle.
Murderous beats
and soulful production is the soundbase for the Savage Brothers -
street bangers from the Snowgoons and european goon affiliates like
Weirdo, Slicenberg, Hitfarmers, FlumBeatz, Luka and sicktunes make this
album a gem and raw as hell.
The same
grittiness and raw power goes for the features on "Freedom Or Death."
Legendary Onyx's own bald head Fredro Starr, West Coast heavy hitter
Ras Kass, C-Rayz Walz, Big Kurt, Sean Strange, Beni-Hana &
Diggieman all step in the cypher to contribute their skills
extraordinaire.
Bloonz Billionfold - RNS ft. D'Nali O'Grind
"LecordonBloonz"
is the third full length solo project from Bloonz Billionfold,
president and frontman of "DuRtbagcrew_International". With soulful
production from Kelly Portis, Mclovin beatz, Unknown Beatz, and others,
this effort is both a trip back to the purest form of Rap/Hip-hop and
also a forceful vision of the future of the art. Featuring guest
appearances from other "DuRtbag crew" alumni, Bloonz and company
display a hunger, cockiness, and skill that hasn't been heard or seen
in years. Easily his best work to date.
Ciphurphace
releases the official video for “Elbow Space” off the forthcoming new
EP “In Phaced God We Trust".
Wake Self - "I Still Love Her" ft. Miles Bonny, Ma Dukes, DJ Young Native & Emilio Semihazah
Seasoned emcee
Wake Self pays homage to his favorite classic hip-hop artists in “Still
Love Her” from his upcoming album, "Malala". From Common’s Resurrection
and A Tribe Called Quest’s The Low End Theory to De La Soul’s 3 Feet
High and Rising and Ice Cube ’s Death Certificate, “Still Love Her”
brilliantly illustrates Wake’s love for hip-hop culture.
“I'm
not one of those people who is stuck in the so called ‘Golden Era’
because I do believe great music has been, will be and is still being
made,” Wake explains. “I feel a deep attachment, however, to classic
hip-hop music. I feel like we as a culture need to start recognizing
our heroes and teachers like other cultures and music genres do.”
Directed
by Phillip Torres of Explore Media and animated by Josh Goble, “Still
Love Her” captures the spirit of the Golden Era while Wake lends it a
freshness with his yearning for a revolution.
